What are Forehead Wrinkles?

Forehead wrinkles are wrinkles that can stretch across the forehead in a horizontal lines.

Why do we get Forehead Wrinkles?

There are a few factors that can contribute to forehead wrinkles these include ageing, hormones, genetics and environmental factors. Usually forehead wrinkles are the first wrinkles to appear. Forehead wrinkles fall into two classes, Dynamic wrinkles (wrinkles caused by muscles contracting), and Static wrinkles (lines present even without expression or muscle contraction).

How to treat Forehead Wrinkles?

Here at Medi Aesthetics Skin Clinic we offer Botulinum toxin A injections as the first course of treatment for forehead wrinkles, this treatment for the majority of clients is the only treatment required. However if the wrinkles are deep static wrinkles (lines present without expression or muscle contraction),  a combination of treatments, of Botulinum toxin A and Dermal Fillers can produce the best results.
